no surfing while utorrent on!

i cant surf when utorrent is on! I am connectable, portforwarded properly but when utorrent is on i cant surf at all, i still can chat on irc tho. i have a 10meg broudband (generally tests at about 6meg down and 400kb\s up, utorrent is generally only about 40 to 60 kb\s down and 20 to 50 kb\s up but even if its not doing more than 10kb\s up or down still cant surf the net!

I have the same problem whick started in utorrent v1.7 beta I think. I've tried everything listed in the FAQ; disabling UPnP port mapping, disabling DHT network, disabling peer resolve, lowering maximum global connections etc.

If you have an unpatched Windows Vista home version, you cannot set µTorrent's net.max_halfopen higher than 2 without problems.

Win XP SP 2 can only handle up to 10 half open connections at once, and even µTorrent's default net.max_halfopen value of 8 can occasionally cause problems on it. ...unless Win XP SP2 is patched with a 3rd party patch to fix that problem.
