Guest
how do you set a full port range instead of just using a single port like you can do in bittornado?
ludde
There is no need for more than a single port. µTorrent multiplexes all ports BitTornado needs into a single port. This is not a bug, it's a feature.
Smoovious
he means having a port picked at random from the range...I would like that feature as well...Some of us don't like to stay stuck on the same port all the time...-- Smoovious
ludde
I added a feature to pick a random port each time uTorrent starts.

Guest
What router? -- Smooviousseriously? do you want to get a worm/trojan/virus/hacked?Haven't had a problem yet... and I've been online since the early 80's.Being careful about what you execute takes care of a large part of the risk to begin with. Stay updated with updates. Don't run more services than I need.Regular scanning of the computer for any unexpected changes.I know what risks I take, and manage them fairly well with the equipment available to me.-- Smoovious

Ares
I too would like to be able to specify a port range, and have µTorrent pick a random port between the range. This makes it much easier for those who share their connection with others to still use random ports.I was going to request this myself but thought I'd do a search first. Good thing, cause I found several different people asking for this:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=244 (sort of)http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=751http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=1473http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=1658 (sort of)http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=3665http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=4745Sheesh... lots of people don't search before posting lol -Ares
