Vigo
This unwillingness to support the older versions in any way is starting to make me suspicious especially after I spent all days reading these forums.
Invy
Makes you suspicious, why? They don't offer support here for outdated versions, simply because problems that people may encounter while using older versions, they are fixed in newer versions. DreadWingKnight
Considering we have issues from older versions that have already been fixed in current versions, it's a waste of time to support them as well.
arty
so, stick with the bugged 1.7.x or die ? why ? so maybe it'll be better when they (we) will choose-another-client than the use the damned 1.6 which still works as a charm, insteed of one thing - that it's not signed by the bt, incbtw, delete this thread -> http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=26330it's evil
DreadWingKnight
Well, if you don't report the bugs, and MAKE SURE THEY'RE REPRODUCIBLE, they won't get fixed. If you aren't reporting bugs, bugs don't get fixed.
Lord Alderaan
This forum has its own extra reason not to support older version (on top of the utorrent policy of not supporting older versions):We would get people complaining over and over about problems they have which have already been fixed in newer versions. And linking to older versions while it's just been said we don't support older versions isn't a smart thing to do. Enough to get banned. But don't stop at that. No, start bringing out the same old fud we've had here for almost a year...Come with wireshark logs or similar evidence unless you want to make a fool out of yourself.
