loading forever

I go to the right website, http://localhost:35445/gui/ , it asks me for my username and password, I put them in, then in the middle of the screen it just says loading. I've left it running for over an hour and it just stays like that. Any resolution?

Make sure you have the webui.zip in the right place, that it is processing the right username, that you have javascript enabled, and that you are not using IE6. I trust you have read the readme.txt which came with the .zip file.

While 1.8 has been released solving most of the JavaScript issues this posts also lists how to solve some of the problems from 1.7.7 and earlier.

Loading forever usually means the javascript isn't properly supported. Reasons:

First update to 1.8.1 and grab the newest webui. A lot of problems from earlier utorrent and webui versions where solved in 1.8.1 and the newest webui. If you still get stuck at loading it is almost certainly one of the following reasons:

[li]Javascript blocked by anti-javascript plugin/add-on[/li]

[li]Javascript hindered by a plugin/add-on[/li]

[li]Unsupported browser.[/li][/ul]

I'm using FireFox 3.0.5

* JavaScript is enabled and allowed everything in its Advanced

* Even Java is enabled, though it is not installed.

uTorrent 1.9 beta (build 13910)

WebUI v0.361

result -> endless spinning arrow and message "loading".

Observing in "Error Console" of FF discovers the following error:

Error: A.parentNode is null

However under IE6 everything works well...

UPD: Tried with clean profile in FF and it works. So problem is elsewhere but not in uTorrent or webUI..

Same problem too.

The main page won't appears.

The java console says:

I've tried with FF3, IE7, Chrome. All the same!
