Comcast Throttling stopped?

I can't believe it but my torrents are running as fast or faster than they use to (~500K-800K). Normally for the last few months they trickled at start and stayed at 12-47K.

Has anyone else noticed this?

ComCast still seems to be experimenting with various crippling settings here.

But I think it varies from area to area...if your area has lots of cheap competition, ComCast may not be so cruel.

I had issues with comcast at the beginnging of the sandvine fiasco, but now I am seeding and downloading at full connection speed. I can't complain. /me keeps his fingers crossed.

Unencrypted connections are often killed instantly, encrypted ones typically only last 30-38 seconds. These are ALL incoming connections. Outgoing connections are a little better, but only encrypted ones tend to last more than 1 minute.

I sometimes get a mass kill-off by ComCast...where almost all of my connections are dropped within a 15 second window. This is rare, because I don't usually get a "mass" of connections to begin with due to being dropped so much.

I still experience problems when uploading, but only on unencrypted connections (usually to KTorrent).
