prod
Can we get a column that adds when the torrent was created? I'd like to be able to prioritize my older torrents (hopefully before they die).
Firon
I don't see how it'd be useful. But the added on category is.
prod
It would allow me to sort by which torrents are really old and more likely to be dying. I tend to add a bunch of torrents at the same time, although they were added to the sites over a few months, making the added on column nearly useless. Firon
Sorting by seeds would probably be better, because it sorts by the number of seeds reported by the tracker.
prod
Through the "Update tracker" I'm assuming? It doesn't seem to get the seeds/peers for torrents that aren't in progress. I've got a large number of torrents, so starting them all isn't practical. For me, an alternate to this feature would be an announce without having to start the torrent. GTHK
Set bt.scrape_stopped true.
prod
Cool, thanks GTHK, it's bt.scrape_stopped (defaults to false)Never knew what that did before .It seems to be getting the number of seeds listed, but the number of peers is staying at 0. Is that a bug or a feature? (build 8682)
jewelisheaven
There are two places to set scraping. The Advanced option GTHK mentioned is for stopped torrents. If torrents are waiting in the queue (so the queue options can be performed on them... cycling to rarest for ex) you need to make sure Ctrl-P -> BitTorrent -> Ask tracker for scrape information is also checked. This feature is different than what happens when you START a torrent. When torrents are not active it is possible to get a "scrape" of the number of peers on the torrent to check health for example. This is what torrentspy.sf.net does for ex. The options in uT allow this to happen for all torrents as you say it's off by default
Firon
If after the update interval you still see 0/0, it means either a) the scrape failed (for various reasons) or the tracker has scrape disabled. Or, there really is no seeds and no peers.
prod
Here's what I'm seeing.
Firon
I guess the handling of scrape data isn't too good...
jewelisheaven
uT hasn't shown peer counts for scrapes for a while. It also only shows Peers not Seeds for announces until the peers actually connect. I guess it's some design choice.
