Firon
It's almost certainly because when you try to do it, most of them are unable to actually update (due to the min interval restriction).
eldust
Ah, now I see that you are unable to update certain torrents, as you said. I take it this is newly introduced into 1.8 seeing how it works fine in 1.7. Have the developers considered a situation in which a user has to reboot or shutdown his computer and wants his upload stats counted on the tracker? Basically with this implemented I have to wait for all my torrents to reach an acceptable time to finally update. Is there any other way I could update all my torrents? I really want to reboot without having to monitor my torrents to see when I can finally update them.
hermanm
All 300 torrents may say "seeding", but are they active - as in trading bandwidth currently with peers? Are the ones updating just the ones with bandwidth activity?

Firon
They'll update when the client shuts down, minimum interval or not.
jewelisheaven
If you have problems with the client shutting down, STOP the torrent prior to close. In 1.8 you may manually update the tracker(s) between MIN_INTERVAL and INTERVAL, or every 60 seconds. No sooner. This is anti-hammering protection. To see these values if you don't already right click on the Trackers tab column headers to enable them.
