acdc125
I used to use utorrent, but then I switched to Azereus for a bit to try it out. After I got tired of the huge memory usage, I decided to go back to Azereus. I uninstalled Azeureus, but whenever I click on a link to download a torrent, it gives me the error "torrent could not be opened, because an unknown error occurred". Previously in both Azuereus and uttorent it would automatically add the torrent to its list, and now I have to save to disk then manually open it. Is there a way to make it automatically open with utorrent? I just did a fresh install today. I also clicked on the "associated with .torrent" box, but it stops being greyed out each time i re-open the options. Any ideas?

jewelisheaven
If you save the torrent from FF, then click-drag or Ctrl-O/D open it in uT does it load? Are you out of space on your drive?
acdc125
I can load torrents by saving the .torrent to my desktop then loading it in torrent, but the problem is that it will not directly go from the website link to utorrent like it did before I used Azureus. jewelisheaven
The only places I know of hiccups to that process have already been referenced. Have you tried removing the .torrent association from BOTH places and setting it up again? For explorer it's under Tools->Folder Options->File Types
