msfukiool
i have a rather old harddrive - only 20gb. now i want to download a file that is ~6gb big.i have deleted a lot of stuff and i have about 10gb free diskspace. however, when i download the torrent file and download starts, it says "insufficient disk space". how much free diskspace is required to download a 6gb file ? jing_bobby
When I went to download a completed discography, i got a message saying that I could not because there was not enough staorage. I have never had this happen before. I know I'm showing my ignorance, lack of computer knowlege (and age), but how do I free up more space? I'm sure the answer is simple but I have not seen it on here.
jewelisheaven
If you're trying to download single files > 4 GiB you will get this error on FAT32 partitions. Check your partition types from start->run->compmgmt.msc You can convert FORM FAT32 to NTFS without any limitation, but converting back requires 3rd party tools or a format from within Windows.
