kjk Posted December 23, 2008 Report Posted December 23, 2008 Version 0.9.0.4 available. It should fix some of the crashes like the one reported on http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=51144
neemelaid Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 CPU usage problem remains... ~100% downgrading to 0.9.0.3 ... disable DHT & enabling it again works about 2hours... then the problem appears againProblem showd up overnight... 3-4 days worked normaly & yesterday CPU usage in user was 25-45% and system 45-55%Computer MacBook 1,83 DualCore, 1GB RAM Leopard 10.5.6
molok Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 I can confirm the 100% CPU problem on my MacBook 2,1 (Core 2 Duo @ 2ghz), 1GB RAM, Leopard 10.5.6. At first it runs without any problem, but after ~14h the CPU usage goes to 100%. Then, even if I restart uTorrent, the CPU usage goes immediately to 100%. Too bad because this looks like a great client.
Eligos Posted January 1, 2009 Report Posted January 1, 2009 Same problem here. It could be 10.5.6 thats causing this.iMac 2.66 OSX 10.5.6

Calcadium Posted February 1, 2009 Report Posted February 1, 2009 I understand, "when it`s ready it`s ready", but there have been no updates for almost 2 months. Updates rolled out every 5-7 days prior to last update. If anything, could kjk please tell us wether development has completely stagnated or not.
NoOneButMe Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 Development is proceeding as it always has. Things are being rewritten to be less buggy and that takes time. Theres no ETA because its impossible to guess how much time it will take. Asking wont help speed things up.
empezar Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 uTorrent for Mac doesn't seem to work with either Waffles or SceneTorrents.
NoOneButMe Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 Site issues. Talk to staff there. Absolutely nothing we can do here.
spoonbender Posted February 4, 2009 Report Posted February 4, 2009 Hi,I appreciate the fact that releases take time. Please maintain quality over quantity. There`s nothing worse than tons of crap software.Thanks.S.
Glum Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 Working great on this end. I've left it running for well over 24 hours, download and seeding. No issues to report.
cwurfel Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 [empezar]ScT doesn't allow beta-clients.
empezar Posted February 13, 2009 Report Posted February 13, 2009 uTorrent is working pretty awesomely for me right now (with the trackers that support it). It's way better with handling resources than Transmission is, and also a lot easier to survey.Great work! Eagerly awaiting next release
