Firon
Did you configure Norton to allow all outgoing traffic for µTorrent and allow binding on the TCP port specified in your settings?

Drumsticks
I followed http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=23127 to open the portAnd I followed http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Dlink/WBR-1310/Utorrent.htm to forward the port.Neither helped. GTHK
Could uninstall it temporarily. This will tell you how to keep the license data and then remove it completely (uninstall from start menu or control panel doesn't count). Personally I'd uninstall it permanently given track record of symantec.http://service1.symantec.com/Support/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039
