I momentarily fixed the probelm and was getting 190kB for about an hour. Came back in here and and its at 40kB shot up to 175kB for about 30 seconds and now back down to 45kB.

It may be your ISP is throttling BitTorrent, especially to others NOT on the same ISP as you.

Or your uTorrent settings can be overloading your networking somehow.

Your speed measurement probably is showing burst speeds, not sustainable speeds...I really doubt you have more than 2 megabit/sec usable upload speed.

Posted

You need to run the speedtest when nothing else is using the internet (no downloads, no uploads and no browsing)

And don't forget private trackers are chronically over-seeded. You're lucky to get any upload time on most without tons of torrents running. (the guys you see with TB of upload cred, usually have thousands running)

Posted

Well your speed test still conflicts with that even at 20. Do the test again and make sure you're not running any internet applications besides the browser window opening the test. And if it still comes up short you may want to have a chat with your ISP.

lol 60 i meant to type 20.

sorry for the confusion

No problem...though as paintball9 stated, try doing a speed test with everything else stopped.

I'm worried that you're not getting even 1 mbit/sec of sustainable upload bandwidth due to ISP problems. :(

...if your uTorrent speed graph is anything to go by.

Not sure if its related but I just noticed a fragment of Norton in your HJT log as well as Avast (probably your normal AV)

Avast isn't as big of a deal but you should probably make sure there are proper rules for utorrent in it. As for norton

E:\PROGRA~1\Symantec\SYMANT~1\NSCTOP.EXE

you should probably make sure to get rid of that.
