fincaman
Hello all I have been using utorrent for some years I have a poor radio Internet connection of 1mb on tests to be fair I get 950 down 450 up which is ok. I used to download at about 120 mbs or so which I was happy with , it started to get slower till sometimes it was down to 5-6 mbs despite all speed tests being fine ,I did all the utorrent setups but no joy . a friend recommended VUSE I installed it and my downloads are back to normal but I hate it and want to come back to utorrent any suggestions ? Switeck
"I used to download at about 120 mbs or so which I was happy with"Units/figures mixed up here?Even 120 megabits/second is insanely fast, having crossed the 100 mbit/sec LAN router barrier. paintball9
@fincaman Follow the instructions on DreadWingKnight's link and report back after.@Switeck What barrier? I've got gigabit lan capable of 125MB/s (Yes I've achieved that speed) and 10gb lan already exists.
Switeck
Then you don't have a 100 mbit/sec lan.But many routers still have only a 100 mbit/sec WAN port.
paintball9
He never said he had 100mb lan though.
Switeck
And we will both wait for a reply to find out if there's units confusion here...which I deem insanely likely. While the router may be partially the cause of the problems, it is *NOT* in any way because it has 100 mbit/sec or 1 gbit/sec WAN Ethernet port.
