Seeding costing me $400 in excess charges!

I downloaded something 2 weeks ago and it's been seeding ever since.. all 319mb of it..

I have a 7gb per month download limit with 15c per mb over that.. im now just shy of $400 in excess charges!!

Obviously, im pretty damn pissed off about it.. uploading should be defaulted OFF when one installs uTorrent.. not to mention automatic start up of uTorrent when windows starts up.

Can anyone please give me a phone number or someone I can contact about this.. or an email address?

No. Uploading defaulting to off breaks your ability to download. Uploading is the backbone of the protocol.

2.0.4 has a transfer cap function. Please consult the documentation on it.

The BitTorrent protocol makes uploading mandatory.

Torrents continue uploading after download completes until manually stopped by the user or set to stop automatically in uTorrent.

It's your own fault for not knowing what seeding entails, and besides seeding is the entire thing that holds Bit Torrent together. So suck it up and don't bitch.

Bottom line is that on such a small quota access plan, you probably should avoid torrenting.
