xerces8
Hi!With version 2.0.4 build 21586 I set two downloaded torrents to "Force re-check" (they were invalid for some reasons).UT checked first one, then the other. They are each on a different physical hard drive.Shouldn't UT check both at the same time?I remember seeing it doing that once in the past (but I could be wrong).Any comments?(sorry if this post comes up twice, on first try it gave an error and it did not appear in the forum)
DreadWingKnight
No, checking is a single-threaded process.
paintball9
Can your system actually check that fast anyways? Chances are you'd max out your CPU before you reached the input capable of using multiple drives.
xerces8
No, the CPU load is at 30%.
paintball9
Well in that case, maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to add the ability to do so in utorrent. If the system is fast enough, then maybe it should allow one scan per drive instead.
xerces8
My CPU is an ancient Athlon XP2200+.Modern systems with multiple cores should handle such tasks with ease.
