eee Posted June 22, 2011 Report Share Posted June 22, 2011 i have mozilla 3.6.17 and utorrent 2.0.4in mozilla at Tools>>options>>>Applications>>>.torrent i selected utorrent.exewhen i open a torrent file it pop up this window http://img821.imageshack.us/img821/493/555de1f61cc748f789558c5.png i press ok but dosent remeber the option and ask me every time to press ok. My Firefox is able to call utorrent.exe each time I'm downloading a .torrent file from the web.And try to renew the file association in FF. eee Posted August 9, 2011 Author Report Share Posted August 9, 2011 yeah you have right. With new profile works fine but how do i fix this thing for old profile? I want to keep saved passwords, bookmarks, etc.in the old profile i have a file type called "magnet" besides "Torrent file" and setting was to open default with utorrent like torrent file. i used same settings for both and same bug, the windows still pop up, then i changed to magneto extension to open default with another program(winrar) and same thing.Can anyone help me please?In new profile i dont have this file type called magnet. This was the problem and if yes how to i get rid of her?thxNow im ussing FF 5.1 because i managed to fix blurry fonts problem but still utorrent 2.04 build 21431 because the other versions sucks I back up the profile with mozbackup . What setting to un select from here http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/images/eng/04.png to have default settings for old profile like new profile?i reseted settings like here http://www.windowsvalley.com/reset-mozilla-firefox-to-default-settings-without-re-installation/ and still have the problem. Save us window still pop up lol, this is getting annoying , i deleted mime-Types.rdf , entered options-application, and had there only 5 aplication to ask, torrent aplication wasnt. downloaded a torrent file , pop up window shows up , i select remeber this choice and try again and same thing.in about:config didnt have this options :Find the preference browser.download.pluginOverrideTypes and, if it is present, right-click on it and select reset.Find the preference plugin.disable_full_page_plugin_for_types and, if it is present, right-click on it and select reset. so i only deleted mime-Types.rdf but dosent work.What the ... to do?
