redrider923 Posted July 1, 2011 Report Share Posted July 1, 2011 I know its around here some where but i can't find the topic that has it, If anyone knows the optimum set up for a windows xp sp2 computer with norton internet security and a linksys wrt54g v1.1 router. Going off of http://forum.utorrrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=15992 ill also throw in other information. the network status light is green. in the set up guide it says the ports are not open and http error 404 on the bandwidth connection. I am using skybeam internet and the speedtests result in 6.46 megabits per second download and 1.64 megabits upload. I have done the glasnost test for throttling and had no throttling. Currently my speeds are finicky and i have not tweaked the settings on my other computer. I started at 1.5 m/b p/s and went down to 75 kb/s. i would really like the high speeds to be consistant.
