justincase
I have restarted the web browsers-tried it with Firefox and InterNet Explorer , clear both the files cache and cookies, rebooted the computer and still have the same problem - when I go to "remote.utorrent.com" I can logon just fine, then after logining in, when it changes pages I get the "loading...loading..." message page and it never changes. Worked up until a few weeks ago and have not been able to logon since then... any suggestions? Have not changed or updated any programs and this is with Windows-7-64bit, if that makes any difference. DreadWingKnight
Are you using adblock or some other script blocking plugin?
justincase
Well, a little more on this problem... if I open the source of the "Loading...Loading..." page and copy and paste the link "https://remote.utorrent.com/srp" from it to the address bar it changes to "https://rapton-i-51bbfc31.utorrent.com:9002/talon/gui?utorrent=1" and it still sits there at the "Loading...Loading..." page BUT, if I change just for the pure hell of it I thought I'd change the "utorrent=1" to "utorrent=2" and then it loads the downloading file list. Strange. What the last part of that URL, the "utorrent=1" specify? and why would it work before but not now?
DreadWingKnight
What version of uTorrent are you using?
justincase
I'm not sure what version it is... the remote Utorrent client is >900 miles away at a vacation home and there doesn't seem to be a way to see the version it's running from the remote interface. I probably haven't updated that program in a year or more.
justincase
No adblock running. But it may be blocking all calls to URLs outside of "*.utorrent.com" - I can see that the "remote.utorrent.com" page makes a call to "api.mixpanel.com" I'm not sure what that is or what's it's used for. It's also calling something from "google-analytics.com" which is just webpage stats. Both of those are being blocked, but they always have been. justincase
Maybe I need to go back to using WebUI? What's the link to WebUI, I've looked around but can't seem to find it's wegpage... I remember that last time I kind of found it quite by accident too!
