Tz19
I understand what is seeding. But when i add a file to seed i want to know when other people load my torrent. And i'am not opening my computer will they be able to download the file? If there is no other peers or uploader
Tz19
And another question:Can seeders become zero? (In an torrent website i have notice that the seeder can decrease) So if we are the owner of the torrent file. This mean we need to continued seeding forever to keep the seeder more than zero or.......?
ciaobaby
Yes, Yes and Yes.I'd suggest reading the user manual it WILL save a lot of time asking questions. Also pay a visit to torrentfreak.com there IS a torrent tutorial there.
jonjacques
This may sound like an idiot question but when IPTorrents says you need to seed back to a ratio of 1, what does that mean? Ive looked through various menus of Utorrent to find this "ratio" but dont see this. How do I know when Ive shared back long enough to delete one? Andreasvb
To put it simply:100 MB DL / 200 MB UL = 2.0 ratio.100 MB DL / 100 MB UL = 1.0 ratio.100 MB DL / 50 MB UL = 0.5 ratio.
Kitsoran
Upload and download should be reversed, since your ratio is upload divided by download.
