bptar01
Is there a way to set up utorrent to rename the downloaded folder's content to that of the actual .torrent file's name? For instance: Torrent A = blah_bloop_garbage.torrentI rename it to: Blah Bloop - Garbage.torrentWhen loading the .torrent file into uTorrent it retails the original uploaders format "C:\Downloads\blah_bloop_garbage"At the moment, I manually fix this for each torrent (what a hassle!).I would like to be able to either, load the torrent in a way that it retains the UPDATED .torrent name so you would see "C:\Downloads\Blah Bloop - Garbage\#contents" Is there an application or script that can do this? I know utorrent has a "run program" feature however I'm not too familiar with scripting to figure it out, but I assume I could have it "place torrent contents into folderX (named after .torrent file) after download completes). DreadWingKnight
There is no way to do it automatically. If you try to do so before the torrent is completed and removed from uTorrent, you end up breaking things.
bptar01
What about after completion? I wouldnt mind, I'm just looking for the end result of having the folder named after its ".torrent" file.
PiusX
What about after completion? I wouldnt mind, I'm just looking for the end result of having the folder named after its ".torrent" file.I just create a folder base on the file name and move the contents into that...it's not that hard to do.
