MrOreo Posted January 11, 2008 Report Share Posted January 11, 2008 I accidentally wrote this in the wrong place, please move to the troubleshooting thread!My router is being filled with these ICMP code 3, SYN:ACK and RST blocked incoming messages. I have forwarded the ports I am using but I still am getting these messages. Every now and then my router shuts off and reboots and I believe this is the culprit.Router: DGL 4300 F/W: 1.7uTorrent port forwarded: 38406The following are just some of the many errors I get in this format.Blocked incoming ICMP error message (ICMP type 3) from 71.231.4.138 to 76.87.16.168 as there is no TCP connection active between 76.87.16.168:3105 and 192.168.0.10:51413Blocked incoming TCP packet from 24.239.149.114:33701 to 76.87.16.168:38406 as RST received but there is no active connectionBlocked incoming TCP packet from 83.90.32.114:61605 to 76.87.16.168:3029 as RST:ACK received but there is no active connectionBlocked incoming TCP packet from 68.151.39.157:61319 to 76.87.16.168:2596 as SYN:ACK received but there is no active connection Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jewelisheaven Posted January 11, 2008 Report Share Posted January 11, 2008 Tell your ISP (if you're on comcast) or ask your ISP if they use sandvine traffic management equipment and if they can turn it off.
