Maybe there is no need to "install" . Just copy your settings.dat and resume.dat files (or rename the .old if corrupted, or use an empty file as settings.dat) . and put it in any empty folder with utorrent.exe.
Install is done. .. If starting from scratch, add that torrent and "force-recheck" it.

Not sure about Sonarr, but in the phMedusa fork, all you need it to just select utorrent and just fill in your port/username / password you've set in utorrent in Pref->advanced->WebAPI

Approved!...
Just put the exe anywhere it CAN be accessed with an empty settings.dat file beside it... Problem solved...

Maybe there is some file/path access issue to the install path or A/V side-effect. Tru disabling your A/V. If nothing works, just replace the exe manually...
-
This is impossible...

Just put the exe anywhere with an empty settings.dat file with it, and be done with "installation"...

Good to hear
You can experiment with the LAA flagged version too...
-
Or you can use the ones with the LAA flag set from my sig ...

You'd need to 'set [new] download location' for each of the moved torrents' job(s) , and "force-recheck" them all
-
I think it's a GUI issue, stopped torrents show "updating" all the time...
-
Pref->advanced->UI extras->Search engines - just delete them all to remove the search box...
Regarding your survey link-icon, you can try backup your sertings.dat file and use mine (at my sig) see if that helps...

There is no other way? Is it totally deleted?
Do you know a program to help restore those video files?
Apreciate the help
Look in your Windows trash/recycle bin. Maybe you are lucky and they are still there, restore-able ... or, search Google for "Recuva"

Have you tried running your program from a cmd batch file such as:
in pref: "run-program.cmd" "%D" "%N" "%L"
and in run-program.cmd: run your program, and possibly also with .... >> output.txt

Not without more info from your end: utorrent build #, screenshots of pref->bandwidth and the main window, speedtest.net results, and results with ubuntu torrent

I don't see this here (I have ~10 seeding torrents that starts almost immediately). Which build # has this slow emptying of the [seeding] Q started? Just the latest one?

Maybe increasing the number of allowed active torrents can help?

Thanks, Rafi -- Unfortunately, I did not miss the above, but choose to return to 97.0.2 instead. The above does not address my initial concern, as it only adds unnecessary work, sorry.
Well, it works as before for me (files are saved in temp, see clip below). I guess I have some other old tweaks in my FF98 settings like browser.photon.enabled = False ...

There is this as well... It looks like back-porting to 97.0.2 is something to consider seriesly...

but at the same time saving the .torrent locally.
What do you mean? Where is it FF supposedly saving it (except if in some temporary path of his)? As far as I know - you should regard this as temporary (like some other internet cached data) while the "real" .torrent file is being saved by the client (qBT/uT) in the designated path you defined for it's .torrent files.
Edit:
I see what you mean, FF saves it in the downloads folder. Open a bug-report with FF Bugzilla...
The W/A is to set in about:config -> browser.download.improvements_to_download_panel = false , with the hope that they will change the behavior in the future... Looks like you are not he only one that is not happy with this change... https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1370409

Am I missing something?
Yes, this (how to set to "always *open* file types in FF 98...):

I don't see any issue with 98.0.1 .... Maybe, make sure you have uT set correctly as the default app for .torrent and magnets in FireFox:
