Yeah, but it HAS been the same in many, many versions.
Flags are not something that I have ever cared about or ever bother updating, I have other tools to do IP lookups that will give me far more information than a miniature flag.
-
The flags don't show automatically and CTRL-Shift-R is the manual/temporary workaround.
This is exclusive to the 3.3 build only!
That'll be why it's has been explained in the user manual since at least version at ver 2.0.0 then.
Available for verification at http://ciaobaby.info/utorrent/v2-help/utorrent-help.zip
-
Build 28910 still requires pressing CTRL-Shift-R to display country flags in the IP column.
All versions do surely, as it is the "reload configuration" key combination after editing flags.conf? I can't recall any version that didn't
-
Now! Why on earth would you expect anyone to overwrite their settings with yours??
Screenshots of the setting will suffice.
-
oh, what about RegKey error?
No idea, what action was it that created the error log entry?
-
So why doesn't he say so in a plain language, that we can all understand
For a beta version it makes sense to log "debug info" rather than "friendly" error messages.
-
and the only thing i miss is the Pieces tab,
???
Detailed Info Pane -> Context Menu -> Pieces
-
Yep, the "Esc -> Reset UI" sets the Web UI Options to their defaults, which can also be accessed via the method I posted.
Both methods are solutions.
-
In the web UI:
Preferences -> WebUI -> Then you can turn on or off the available features.
-
when I force re-check it checks the files but adds them to my download folder even when I have 0% downloaded
Uncheck "[ ] Pre-allocate all files"
-
With or without the add dialogue?
-
It will be, 3.4 is an Alpha version which means it will have bugs. However, this stupid "replication" bug HAS to be fixed ASAP!
See above. Also, why does it prompt me to add an RSS entry with EVERY torrent added? What are the exact conditions to reproduce the RSS problem?
-
So, the high speeds have continued through the weekend, magnets are loading in a couple of minutes or less, loaded the client up to 110 running jobs with no problems, download rates are hitting 600+ kB/s.
All 9 Slackware torrents downloading simultaneously, completed in under four hours, the quickest completion was 19m 11s (650M).
Not once has it gone unresponsive or crashed and two friends (real ones, not facebook 'friends') have been seeing similar improved performance. Seems like a winner.
So can we keep this version?

3.4.28659 Logged error:
IO Error:1168 line:68 align:-99 pos:-99 count:4 actual:0
50+ times followed a complete system lockup, power cycle required to recover
Reverting to 3.2.2. so I can use my computer without rebooting every twenty minutes or so.

That's more the fact that Microsoft now own Skype.
i don't see how those claims are conflicting.
They aren't per se.
But everyone aims their vitriolic remaks at the developers of a product, who are simply doing a job and really do not deserve such abuse, it is THE OWNERS and the managers who pull the strings and call the tune who are the people to rage at.
-
Well gals & guys, you've definitely got something 'right' just transferred several RSS feeds over that were all stalled and refused to restart or update in BitTorrent, and they are all 'flying' in with the total download speed hitting 750kB/s
-
Ermm no.And now the monstrosity of v6 produced by the sleeping reason of "creative staff" and marketologists. That's more the fact that Microsoft now own Skype.
-
Yep.
What is the point of
3.4.28462Installer sets executable path to %appdata%/utorrent instead of %programfiles%/utorrent
Installer does not offer option to change default installation location.
Yes' date=' that's the whole reason for 3.4. Can't be installed in Program Files to do autoupdates without UAC.[/quote']
If the update system doesn't actually work??? AND has to be shut down and restarted manually.
3.1 & 3.2 updates worked perfectly ok once the UAC had been Ok'ed by the users. All that happened then was that some of the jobs needed an automatic reset on the client restart.
Why has "If it ain't broke,... Don't fix it" become "If it ain't broke, .... fix it 'til it is"!

3.4.28659
Who Hoo!
Magnets populating add dialogue in less than two minutes AND not waiting for dialogue population before adding the DOES finally, correctly load the metada in client.
That's probably been THE most frustrating problem for several versions now (for me at least)
-
However 14 minutes later;
So it seems that it failed to close the client before attempting the update and/or restart.
-
3.4.28604 Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 32bit.
Shows notification of new version available --- then apparently does nothing at all with respect to download and updating.
-
Maybe they have, but as your problem is DIRECTLY attributable to BTGuard and we have NO inside knowledge of BTGuard how exactly are we to offer ANY support beyond "Ask BTGuard"???????
It is not my fault that your expectations are too high!!!!!
-
Second:
THIS is a forum for the uTorrent client NOT BTGuard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
