Slippery
I'm not happy with uTorrent. It is a bandwidth hog like BitComet. I noticed that yesterday when superseeding with Azureus. Also when you have a few torrents running, like 5-7, it hogs system resources. Azureus is better with multiple torrents. I like the layout better also because the completed torrents go to the bottom which is less confusing than utorrents' layout.
DreadWingKnight
http://utorrent.com/setup_guide.php for the bandwidth hog issue.Hogging system resources is caused by programs external to uTorrent or bad settings on your part.As for the problem with uTorrent's layout, why not just sort by the # column. Slippery
No, by hogging I mean it bumps other clients out of the swarm, like Azureus.
Firon
Uh, no it doesn't. But Azureus's superseeding is horribly broken.
Smoovious
it bumps other clients out of the swarm if that particular client has been idle (no chunks sent or received) for at least 5 minutes, configurable to longer idle time, or disable, to make room for other clients to be connected that may be more willing to share what they have.and...ok, this is a bit surreal... are we actually having a debate on Az-vs-µT on which hogs system resources more?!-- Smoovious
