spiffiestpenguin Posted July 18, 2007 Report Posted July 18, 2007 I have been downloading with Utorrent for a while and dont have this problem very often...but all of a sudden now, ALL of my downloads stopped downloading. one stopped at 96%, the others are still low. one has almost 3000 seeds, while others have none. my point is, they all just stopped downloading and wont start up again, i have restarted my computer, restarted utorrent, tried starting NEW downloads, i just dont understand why they wont download. i have left it on overnight to see if they will start up but they dont, any way i can fix this problem?
DreadWingKnight Posted July 18, 2007 Report Posted July 18, 2007 Availability is showing as what for the offending torrents?
spiffiestpenguin Posted July 18, 2007 Author Report Posted July 18, 2007 most availability is showing from 0.00 to 0.963...but doesnt that get higher as the download is closer to being complete?? i have used this for a while but dont know much more than the basics..sorry
Firon Posted July 18, 2007 Report Posted July 18, 2007 If it's not higher than 1, you just can't finish the torrent because there isn't a full copy out there.
spiffiestpenguin Posted July 18, 2007 Author Report Posted July 18, 2007 So then i just have to wait for 1 to be available?? Does it have to do with the person having the file being online? most of the time they dont have a full 1 available, like right now 1 just started downloading again (only 1.4 kbs) but the availability is only 0.967
ronaldinhovsgeraldinho Posted July 18, 2007 Report Posted July 18, 2007 Yes and Yes, but it could be a fake or poisoned torrent.
spiffiestpenguin Posted July 18, 2007 Author Report Posted July 18, 2007 I see...so than no way to start them back up besides waiting huh...alrighty then, thank you!
ajones81 Posted July 18, 2007 Report Posted July 18, 2007 You might be able to finish your download if a peer with the required pieces comes online... it's not necessary to wait for a seed always.
