Frequent crashes with 1.7.6 and now with 1.7.7

I have been seeing lots of crashes recently. Most were with 1.7.6, so I updated to 1.7.7 hoping that they are fixed (changelog mentioned that some remote crash bugs have been fixed in 1.7.7), but yesterday night I still got a crash. Since my download/upload happens at night only, I see the crash dialog in the morning only.

Is there a way to configure uTorrent to automatically re-launch after a crash, rather then showing the crash dialog box and waiting for an input.

I use ZA pro and haven't had any problems with utorrent 1.7.7 existing together. How updated is your O/S on you computer from SP2?? I get rid of win a/v and get a free version ie like avira a/v pe it's free...I never had problem crashing...but you have to make sure your PC is clean regularly and defragged....use something like CClean to clear up any registery that is being used and didn't get removed from Add/Remove option.

I have been using CA Etrust for more then an year now (never had any problems with it and uTorrent). Also for work reasons I have to have it installed on my machine. The crashes started happening only a few days back and then I read reports of a known remote crash exploit in uTorrent (which is supposedly fixed in 1.7.7).

I have uploaded a few dumps. Have they been of any help? Do you need more? I got a crash yesterday too.

BTW Is there a way to configure uTorrent to automatically re-launch after a crash, rather then showing the crash dialog box and waiting for an input.

It would be good for you to upload at least one dump to mediafire.com yourself and then post the link here, instead of uploading it to the server. The added benefit is you can compress it, and since the dumps compress 40-60% that's good if it's > a few MiB in size.

Auto-relaunch has been rejected before sorry :/ The main concern for the dedicated staff here is to get you working again without having to workaround an obvious problem.
