DreadWingKnight
Turn off automatic restart on system failure and get us the blue screen message.
jewelisheaven
.. even IF it was uTorrent, it wouldn't be a "sometimes" problem. Are you running over USB wired to your router? What OS? and yeah, the message and file mentioned by DWKnight is useful.
Firon
Please turn off automatic rebooting and write down every single letter then BSOD says.
tickfordxr6
Ok so the BSOD came up again just before and this is the error it comes up with...PAGE FAULT IN NON-PAGED AREAand then it just has an error code...***STOP: 0X00000050 and a few more sequence of numbers that are basically the same. Firon
That generally is a sign of a failing hardware, though it has other potential causes.http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms793437.aspx
tickfordxr6
but its not a failing hardware problem, its to do with utorrent. the BSOD only comes up when utorrent is loaded so it has nothing to do with anything else on the computer. DreadWingKnight
Post a hijackthis log and process explorer process list with injected dlls for utorrent.exe then.
Firon
You are incorrect. µTorrent cannot cause a BSOD. There is an underlying problem on your system.
Ultima
a) get HijackThis from trendsecure.com, run it, view the log, and post the contents here get Process Explorer from sysinternals.com, run it, Ctrl+D (to show the lower DLL pane), select the µTorrent process from the list, Ctrl+S (and save the list somewhere you'll find easily -- like the Desktop), then post the contents of the saved process list in the .txt file here
