General Torrent and uTorrent Questions

Hey,

So i'm sure that most of these questions will be answered somewhere on the forum, and i have found answers to alot of my questions by browsing through the forums and finding answers, so i have a smaller list of questions now... Here they are:

1 - My first question relates to uTorrent and it's bittorrent.inc ties. I was wondering what the difference between the uTorrent client and the Bittorrent client are?

2 - Regarding the improved performance of torrent downloads when the upstream is capped at ~70%. Why is this? I understand the basic premise, but surely having clients uploading below their peak upload speed hurts the swarm?

3 - uTorrent updates the tracker when you stop a torrent, does it also do so when you close the application?

And now questions that I don't expect you to take as seriously..

1 - Does DreadWingKnight have his own: a) Bat Cave?

B) Bat Mobile?

c) Does he splutter like DarkWingduck?

2 - Is DreadWingKnight the same guy/superhero who created "that" torrent tracker?

3 - How do i get an awesome little quoty thingy like the ones under DreadWingKnight's name?

4 - What is the meaning of life?

Eagerly Expecting replies...

Make sure you are connectable. That will let you connect fastest to peers, as soon as they announce they can connect to you (t minus several seconds for the transmission of the announce information). NOTHING ELSE will do what you want. Hammering the tracker so YOU MAKE more peer connections won't make you upload faster.

Start at the beginning. Isolate piece-by-piece. I start where I have the MOST control, aka my computer... but you can start at the ISP so you will not waste 6 hours futzing with stuff to no avail. Connect directly to the modem your ISP gives you. Do you get open ports? Does the uTorrent port tester show OK? How about http://canyouseeme.org ?`

http://canyouseeme.org Error: I could not see your service on unknown on port (50707)

at http://www.utorrent.com:16000/testport2.php?port=50707

Welcome to the Torrent Port Checker.

A test will be performed on your computer to check if the specified port is opened.

Checking port 50707 on 94.62.8.32...

OK! Port 50707 is open and accepting connections.

You will be able to receive incoming BitTorrent connections.

but even with 30 leechers i cant upload untill a manual update, and in all of the trackers stats i am not connectable
