The Speed Graphs

I'm not a techie in anyway or form, and I don't know what half the lines in the new version of utorrent mean. Is there a way to switch them off, so only the 'main' speeds and limits show?

I did have a hunt to see if this idea had come up before, but I don't know of any correct terms, so I may have missed it

Thanks, but that's not really what I'm looking for - know I don't know what anything is! I like the graph, just not all of it.

It's a bit of a shame actually, I was pointed towards utorrent as non-techie friendly

you can only disable the display of tcp rate control: bt.tcp_rate_control = false.

at minimum, you'll see 4 lines - payload and overhead for upload and download. It's not that bad...

not really, but it's always a shame when you find a program that you really like and then it gets changed and there are bits you don't want.

What I don't understand is that the dotted one always seems to be the same amount above the solid line. What's the point?

the dotted line is protocol overhead for that direction of traffic over and above regular traffic in that direction.

you can read in the legend that they are overhead data-speed, right (also F1->glossary) ? You always had it, but just did not see it on the graph. You like to minimize it as much as possible. In uT, the way to do that is disable the new uTP protocol , which is an option you might not want to take.

ok i just did this with mine and it worked right away cuz the doted lines were bugging me.

just simply go to Options>Preferences>Advanced>Gui.Graph_overhead and change it to false. hope this helped
