Interesting...... but i can't disable the proposed upgrade to pro!

I can set to FALSE the gui.show_plus_upsell because i set on false... and i can't click on apply............. when i reopen the preferences this value it's again on true!

I can disable the Bundle page when there's no torrent loaded.........

But i have check all options and there no option for disable/hidden the Bundle section............

Hi Beasly; I've did this way and regarding ads, Now They're Gone. Thanks a lot for your wise advice!!! The only thing that still annoys me is that there at Preferences is a setting which deals with selecting the destination folder for downloaded files from uTorrent. I've created a folder as a new library (Win7) and then, I proceeded to designate it as the destination in Preferences and then, restarted the uTorrent (I'm using version 3.4.2 build 38397 32-bit) but it won't switch from the usual destination (It is still the default Downloads folder). Do you know of any "Magic Tweak" in Preferences or anywhere else to fix this? Thanks in advance.

With newer versions, some of those settings get reset back to original when you restart the client. Until you restart, the advertisement sections are hidden. I have noticed this behavior especially on Windows 8.1. This is the reason, the "Upgrade to Pro" node reappears on the left top.

These are the settings which get reset at restart as of build 38758

Advanced Settings
---
offers.featured_content.badge.enabled
offers.featured_content_notifications_enabled
offers.featured_content_rss_enabled

Hidden Advanced Settings
---
gui.show_gate_notify
gui.show_plus_av_upsell
gui.show_plus_conv_upsell
gui.show_plus_upsell_nodes

Okay, I go to Preference, then I hold F2 + Shift key at the same time when I click on the adanced section and I do not have thos HIDDEN ADANCED SETTINGS. Am I doing anything wrong? I would appreciate any feedback on getting or seeing these HIdden Advanced Settings.

Thank You.

I figured out how to fix it so that it works again :D. Just make the settings.dat, settings.dat.old, and settings.dat.new read only after you follow Beasly original instructions.

Windows Locations: C:\Users\LOLZ\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent\settings.dat

I have attached mine. You shouldn't need them though.

Cheers,

forever
