willWork4Food
First of all, I would like to know is it normal for web pages to load far more slowly while I have a torrent seeding with uTorrent?I tried this with another download/upload manager, and even though upload limit was left at 'unlimited' it didn't interfere with web browsing. rafi
First of all, I would like to know is it normal for web pages to load far more slowly while I have a torrent seeding with uTorrent?Yes. Proper settings can help (v my sig v). With what version/build#?
willWork4Food
I use uTorrent 3.3 (build 29462) [32-bit]. I can't remember what my previous version was, but I think this wasn't an issue there.I tried all the settings from the 'IF YOU HAVE SPEED ISSUES READ HERE FIRST' thread but still get interference. rafi
Well, some upload issues are being fixed now at the next 3.3.1 build. You might want to try it, or my settings below...
willWork4Food
From the first link of yours I tried B[1] and G but it doesn't help; I don't think that limits are the problem, I tried limiting the upload speed to only 20% of my max and I got the same results.I don't see how other links could apply to me. Maybe I'll just try out the latest versions, right after reaching the seeding goal
willWork4Food
I downloaded v3.3.1 (build 29525) [32-bit], it appears that the problem has been solved (I'll report when I run some more tests). It seems that Chrome has more issues with uTorrent than Firefox, though.
rafi
But I said - *the next* build...
willWork4Food
Right. This worked for about 53 minutes and then the same old story. I am going to wait for that next buid. In the meantime, can you tell me if Dynamic IP Address can have some influence on this?
rafi
No, I don't think so.

willWork4Food
Only if it changes every few minutes. It changes every 60 minutes, so I thought it can't be coincidence that all worked perfectly well for about 53 minutes.
ciaobaby
Yep, each time the IP changes all the peer connections have to be remade.
willWork4Food
I solved the problem definitely by downgrading to v2.0.1 Beta (build 18786). I forget I even have some seeding tasks running :cool:I do get this message: "No incoming connections. Unless the icon turns green, it could indicate a problem with your network configuration." ciaobaby
Andhttp://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=721470#p721470Please do not post or ask for older versions of uTorrent. We will only troubleshoot current versions of the software.
willWork4Food
OK, that's cool. For a second I thought I did something illegal when I downgraded. This is only a temporary solution until those speed problems are solved in the "next build". I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions about that one. willWork4Food
I don't know what you're talking about. I did the whole thing twice, just to be on the safe side. But never mind, this old version works great for me. I'll stick to it until there's a better solution for me.
