Zelldeb
I just built a new pc, i put all the torrents that i was currently seeding on my old pc on a spare hd. I got my new system up and running and installed utorrent. I loaded the torrent files for the torrents i was seeding on the old pc and directed utorrent to use the directory where those files are already located. Instead of checking the directories to see if those files are already there utorrent is trying to redownload them all from scratch. When i right click each torrent the Force Recheck option is greyed out and i cannot get utorrent to recheck any of my files. I have searched the forums for someone else having a similiar issue but have been unable to find one, if there is already another discussion regarding this please post a link to it. thanks
DreadWingKnight
Stop the torrent before trying to re-check.

Zelldeb
I am still having an issue. Utorrent now after checking the files says they are still 0% complete. It even appears to have corrupted the files, one was a movie, it will no longer play.
Zelldeb
i loaded the torrent into utorent and then under the advanced tab changed the download location for each one to the directory where the files were already located. was this the wrong method to do this? rafi
to the directory where the files were already locatedYou probably made a mistake (usually the root is one level lower...) . Verify correct path in the info tab.
