  1. Not overly so, if at all. ludde listens to suggestions, but doesn't implement solely on the popularity of the request.
  2. Pelo's guide... for those of you with the ugly gray background in the window, you might want to check out the Theme section of the guide.
  3. The alternate firmware works fine with UPnP. You don't even have to forward manually, or worry about static IPs using UPnP. But if you already forwarded properly, just make your comptuer's static IP what you forwarded to in the router configuration.
  4. Well, it does say "don't use router.bittorrent.com" after all... =P I do believe a customizable bootstrap was requested before, and I think Firon (or was it DWK...?) said he was going to bug ludde about one.
  5. Hm, why's Butterfly2006's screenshot have the ugly gray? Pelo's screenshot didn't O.o
  6. That's been reported a bunch of times already.
  7. @boo: No, Azureus DHT isn't coming until after 1.6 -- it's a lot to implement. Currently, in build 465, µTorrent uses router.utorrent.com as default DHT bootstrap now.
  8. You already created a thread about patching TCPIP.SYS, why would you ask again? It's already been determined that you don't need to patch it since you don't even have SP2 installed.
  9. The language pack isn't updated yet.
  10. Speeds in BitTorrent are never guaranteed to be constant. Try downloading the OpenOffice.org torrent to test. Edit: And stop double-posting.
  11. When you open a torrent, that dialog, the checkbox labeled "Skip hash check" used to be "Open for seeding".
  12. Ooh? I thought it already did that in previous builds...
  13. They are, nightshifted is just talking about connotation, IINM =P
  14. Yep, that was reported already. Not the first time something like this has happened anyway =P
  15. Oh, I don't even use the shutdown feature, don't plan on actually using it, and didn't want it in the first place (just never really fought it either) =P
  16. Hrm, I don't like that... it's what people were fighting against in the first place when this whole shutdown feature was requested several months ago =T Thanks for the confirmation, I'll try to find some time to test it, but not at the moment.
  17. Erm, that's not an answer to my question. I'm not asking what each one is -- I know well enough. I'm asking if one takes seeding goals into account while the other doesn't. Can you give me a definitive answer to this question: if you have seeding torrents that haven't reached the seeding goal by the time the downloading torrents complete their seeding goals, will µTorrent shut down when you select "Shutdown when downloads complete," regardless of the fact that some torrents haven't completed? I asked other people on the channel, and no one seemed to be sure. I suspect I'll have to ask ludde directly myself to make 100% sure -- if I can ever find him on when I am -.-
  18. @Vike: Hm, about the autoshutdown thing... that's one thing I'm not sure of. I'm wondering, if the "downloading" one takes seeding goals into account, then what's the "everything" for in the first place?
  19. Hah *sauce =P @Bodygard: No flickering here.
  20. Moving everything around and relinking them was annoying (I separated each page in the preferences into different files). I have a feeling I might have missed some other stuff, but I'll find them when I revise everything, which might not be in a long while =T
  21. @rafi: The user manual I'm writing is HTML, so it should be easy to link to the right page if someone uploads it to the server. Besides that, I'm going to compile it into a CHM, so ludde should also be able to being up context-sensitive help from that too if people download it. Unless he changes stuff around again xP
  22. Nah, it was downloads, not everything. And reorganizing the help wasn't as painful as I had thought... Done =o
