  1. Not so hidden = good idea, so yeah, context menu entry would be a fine addition
  2. Ah that post was directed at CapnBry, since he said he was experiencing flickering ;P In any case, does it flicker for you?
  3. Flickering... hm, ludde did improve the flickering issue in the betas. Have you tried it?
  4. The Speed Guide does mostly what this guide does already, but a bit more on the conservative side.
  5. The cache is shared between read and write, which is why it doesn't "appear" to fill up the amount set.
  6. That's in the FAQ as well ;P
  7. It is enabled by default now, and cannot be disabled.
  8. I reported that to ludde already. He said he'll take that into consideration. Edit: And he indeed did fix it.
  9. @Adrenalin_: There's a difference between a public release and a leak. Fine, it's all over the 'net, it's available from a public IRC channel, and it's hosted at a publically accessible location, but does that mean it's officially released as a public beta? Unless it's officially announced on the administrators' own volition, it's not public, and the fact that it's widespread doesn't make it a reason to officially announce it. HL2 wasn't released when the source got leaked ;P
  10. No, it doesn't shut down once it's downloaded. It's supposed to shut down when the torrent is completed. Meaning the Seeding Priority is reached. Meaning it would've stopped anyway.
  11. lol I was only trying to check if the option stayed enabled, because winMX_67 was saying that it didn't. Set it to true... bam, everything shut down (I was only seeding 2 torrents, no other torrent on the list) =o
  12. Agreed, I'm not too sure how it's going to harm the swarm any more than stopping at the Seeding Priority will. That said, the shutdown thing seems to be acting "funkily," and it shut my computer down automatically after enabling it, even though my seeding priority wasn't reached. Grrrr...
  13. My solution would be to just not override the speed popup list, but I guess that should be taken into account (I'd thought about it before the dynamic list was added).
  14. @Game90: Quick succession, IINM.
  15. I wasn't sure if ludde wanted anyone to post it, after all, he was suprised when 453 was first released, and said it was a channel-only beta =T
  16. I see the changelog O.o As for the cookie thing... I'd never store passwords in cookies, always memorize.
  17. Right click the peers list and select "Resolve IPs" As for the changelog thing, replace the .exe in the link to .txt and you have your changelog.
  18. No, 35KiB/s is somewhere near your max, so it's fast enough.
  19. What about firewall? If you have NVIDIA firewall (meaning you have an nForce-based motherboard), that could be your problem, as NVIDIA Firewall is known to be very buggy. Try running the Speed Guide instead, and see if that helps.
  20. Meaning you're not going to find any benefits using this newer build. So just stick to something that's actually official and supported.
  21. @Pandy321: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=167260#p167260 And I'm not sure what you mean by firewall section of your video card settings. Why would your video card include a firewall?
  22. It's not public. And there's nothing special in that build anyway, so there's no point in testing it.
  23. I know Opera has a bunch of problems with many AJAX sites, but it doesn't mean rendering is bad in general. AJAX, though an old technology (technically), is only starting to become widespread, so it's no wonder that there might be problems with it. Also, I've no problems with GMail whatsoever, and any issues that used to be there were fixed during the weekly builds, AFAIK O.o
