Try http://localhost:PORT/gui/ where PORT is the port you use for µTorrent. Regarding port forwarding... http://www.utorrent.com/setup_guide.php If you can't figure out how to forward your ports, then you'll have no use for WebUI.

I'm not sure you should be downloading it if you didn't even bother reading the first post. After all, you're surely not going to even read the readme and will be bugging us here or on IRC instead for stuff answered on the readme already.

Sounds like their firewall is blocking you. I'm not sure there's really anything you can do about it.

You placed webui.zip in %appdata%\uTorrent, where settings.dat is, right? If so, what is µTorrent's logger tab saying? You are using build 483 right? @trav1085: No one asked you to try the leaked beta and get your hopes up. Why don't you ask Microsoft for a good reason why they don't support standards properly instead of asking Directrix for a good explanation as to why IE6 doesn't support WebUI? Yes, it's not WebUI not supporting IE6, it's IE6 crashing upon loading where standards-compliant browsers work just fine. And no one owes you anything, so we don't even need to provide a good reason if we didn't want to. It just so happens that we do have a perfectly legitimate explanation.

Oof... µTorrent + Wine might possibly be a bit heavy for a system like that, IMHO =o I can't really say what the resource requirements are, but with a system like that, a heavy compatibility layer like Wine along with just BitTorrent in general might make your system cry. It wouldn't hurt to try, I guess, but I think you're better off using a different system for something like that.

Several people have reported the same thing, but I've yet to see a reason why it would stop working with Firefox 2.0 RC2, and I haven't experienced it myself. If it stopped working on all browsers, then there's something else conflicting.

And you're accessing http://IP:port/gui/ right? Have you tried localhost instead of an IP to make sure everything's actually set up properly?

Use the latest version of Wine. I don't think anyone really knows for sure what the requirements, so you're better off telling us what your system's specs are instead.

What exactly is your point? I don't see ANYWHERE in that thread or the related threads where ANYONE said UDP was going to be added. Not to mention I STILL don't understand why you're asking in THIS thread of all threads, when it's ENTIRELY unrelated. Want your answer? Read the FAQ. It baffles me as to how you're a long-time forum browser, and yet you're still jumping way off-topic, and you still didn't get the message about how UDP support is very unlikely -- so much so that ludde's essentially abandoned any idea of adding it.

Because no one ever said UDP trackers would be supported, and ludde's not interested in implementing a dead (stupid) spec. Either way, this is TOTALLY unrelated to WebUI, so I'm not sure why you're even asking this here in this thread.

I've never experienced something like that... Granted, I don't use TabMix, but Opera has an equivalent feature for undoing tab closes, and it works just fine =T

Frankly (no offense), I've yet to see you present any new ideas. Storing all the data in RAM or in some RAM drive has already been requested. Most of your other posts were posts regarding the disk cache, and you've a post agreeing with tjobo's idea about using treeview in the Add New Torrent dialog.
