rockiroad
In the last couple of days, uTorrent has stopped playing nice with Internet Explorer. When uTorrent is uploading/download, Explorer cannot find any websites (no internet connection), widgets come back with no internet connection, etc. but uTorrent keeps on running. When I stop upload/download, the connection is back and Explorer works just fine. I don't know what's changed. I even did a System Restore back to a couple of days ago in case a Windows Update messed with something, but no luck. I've removed and reloaded uTorrent 1.7.7 to no avail.Running Vista with a Linksys 54G ver 6.Thanks.

rockiroad
I'm giving it a shot. Is there any reason for this problem to suddenly crop up after no problems with utorrent for the last 6 months?

rockiroad
Jewelisheaven - do you really know what update did this, or are you just ranting?I've tried the suggestions on the link from Firon, but I'm still having problems. Has anybody else had this problem crop up recently?
jewelisheaven
There is a common process of troubleshooting available (I link to it below as How-To in deference to Ultima's mastery of making guides)... If you haven't checked through it noone needs to give you anymore information than IE is the past. Any windows updates could affect your uT negatively if you changed default settings. Given you're also using a weak (with default firmware) linksys that could be the problem which hermanm pointed out.
surftawas
I got exactly the same problem but im running Windows XP and IE7. Also i tried installing Firefox same problem.
