laradov
I opened port 6881-6889 for uTorrent, and it is using 6882.I use ZoneAlarm. While uTorrent is closed,ZoneAlarm often blocks "Incoming Packet"s to my 6882 port from different IPs(and it makes my internet slow). When I close the port,it stops. What is the problem? thelittlefire
Zone Alarm is a buggy piece of software. I'm amazed your computer works at all with it installed. The reason you get data for a while after closing uTorrent is because it's not instant telling people you've left the swarm. They try you and don't get a response and hopefully after an hour or two remove you from their peer cache. Sometimes this may last for a longer time depending on how many torrents and the sizes of the swarms you participate in.
laradov
I knew that but didn't know it lasts so long.Should I close port after closing uTorrent? (Because it makes my internet slow)
DreadWingKnight
If this detection that ZA is doing is slowing down your internet, you should uninstall ZA and use a firewall that isn't quite so stupid.
laradov
Anyway with ZA?

Firon
ZA is unfortunately a really, really bad firewall.
laradov
But security tests say it is the best.

Switeck
Most security tests I've seen say it's pretty bad even at its primary task.
