someguyouknow
Got a Netgear Wireless router with a netgear wireless adapter with Comcast cable internet and i just want to know if it can be throttled.....
Firon
That has absolutely nothing to do with anything. What matters is the actual internet connection, which is, in your case, cable internet with Comcast. Your wireless connection is merely a local thing, not an internet connection. someguyouknow
oh ok........i guess i will leave you guys alone now.....my lack of knowledge can be bothersome........
1c3d0g
That's an unexpected response. :/ But yes, any connection can be throttled down, regardless of how it's connected...Edit: typo.
Firon
You're not being bothersome, I'm just telling you that your wireless connection is local, and completely unrelated to what you're asking about.
1c3d0g
It could be "throttled" if the router sucks though...

r00ted
Some wireless routers may support throttling, but I know my BEFW11S4 doesn't.
