  1. bigred: the option implies it will check for updates automatically. It does not imply it will update the program automatically. So no need to rename the feature. But yes I would like to see the program autoupdate too.
  2. That problem is known and is being worked on.
  3. Snapphane: if you are worried about stability then using the betas is not for you, and using the auto update to beta's is definitely not for you. There is nothing for the devs to "fix" about it, so just turn it off.
  4. Thats because 1952 wasnt put on the autoupdater yet cuz the bt devs didnt give Firon what he needed to be able to do so.
  5. And thats exactly what utorrent does for me kokoaroko. I set utorrent to run on a port taken by another program, it maps the port and gives me a red light with the message listen error. If i leave utorrent on that port, close it, reopen it, it maps that same port again, giving me the red light again. It doesnt try to choose another port.
  6. Fadeout could you take this to the Feature Requests forum please, instead of hijacking this thread. Not that its worth starting a thread there anyway, cuz the feature you want is a no-no. The noobs shouldnt be allowed near a feature like this, and anyone who thinks they know something about BitTorrent shouldnt want to have a feature like this exist.
  7. Why cant people just save the thing to where they want it to eventually be i dont know... But anyway, for the peeps who insist on having a seperate location for stuff downloading and stuff seeding. I just suggest having a new shortcut menu option in the advanced section to tell utorrent where to move the download the files (at any stage during download). Best to call this something to distinguish it from "Set Download Location" so people dont get confused. Maybe something like "Move Downloaded Files", and rename "Set Download Location" to "Find Downloaded Files". This option will autostop the torrent, move it, recheck it, and auto start it in the status it was when option was clicked.
  8. ultima: oh well i suggest formatting his drives then hehe
  9. thexfile: try deleting config files
  10. FR: In Add Torrent Dialog, show the total size of the contents in a folder, like you do for individual files. Not standard Windows behaviour I know, but it would be useful. Bug: Scroll bar on general tab. I have it set so that my general tab is tall enough to see first line of comments. If i highlight a torrent that doesnt have a comment then the scrollbar doesnt show, then i switch to a torrent that has a multi line comment, then the scrollbar still wont show, even though it should. If I try to make the general tab taller, then i can see the scrollbar drawing/undrawing itself, the only way to get the scrollbar to show is to make the general tab shorter. FR: In the Create New Torrent dialog, in the Other section, have a check box for the "Initial Seeding" option that is linked to the "Start Seeding" check box. If Start Seeding is unticked then Initial Seeding is greyed out, etc, vice versa. Apart from that. I'm loving the work you guys are doing...
  11. lol, no can do people, RL has taken over after my 6 months of being a lazy bum after uni finished. I dont even have time to keep up with my TV shows let alone be on IRC!! I now have 2 JOBS!!!! lol, anyway, one of those jobs is ending soon, so will look in on u guys eventually. Anyway, thanks for the release, nice to see it finally went stable.
  12. And dont double post, edit your previous post... e.g. EDIT: HI GUYS
  13. mleko: did u upgrade to build 483? if u did then we will need more information as to what u mean by "wont load" bfg: Pleh i hope is right about the encryption thing. If he isnt then then try not using the alternative listening port (thats if u are using it).
  14. well that scuppers that idea then. unless u can find someway to run wine on a "storage device"
  15. no it wont show peers. What i meant was that u add a module or whatever they are called to the google page for EACH linkstation. So if u got 5 linkstations, then you will have 5 little utorrent webui windows on that one google page. That way u will be able to see the progress of each. And obviously you dont need a window/module for the seeding comp.
  16. powaking: then i suggest using the experimental google gadget then - http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=15550 - and have a gadget on screen for each linkstation. Or something more creative if that doesnt float your boat (maybe due to CPU/bandwidth/number of linkstations).
  17. powaking: i dont believe it is on the todo list. What purpose will it serve other than to manually add a peer (which if this is ever implemented could be done in the torrent context menu)? And if u do come up with any purposes, weigh them up against the effort it will take to implement it.
  18. You can put settings.dat with the .exe yes. Dont forget to move the webui.zip with the settings.dat too. two.five.three.two: we believe its a Protocol Encryption problem.
  19. Exterus: whats the problem when testing locally?
  20. Loading problems = i hope its because your not using Build 483. If you are using build 483 and u tried the cookie URL but things still aren't working then your gonna need to come into IRC to fix this. Either way i'm very doubtful its anything to do with FF RC2
  21. Lol Exoskeletor was i supposed to think that u were u using Flash version too
  22. Mobile version isnt ready for release yet. We have no dates for when it will be ready either.
  23. boo: i wasnt harsh enuf considering Ultima just added another strike to the count Suprise suprise, airpina is an AOL user hehe
  24. Somebody ban this guys ass for double posting, invite trolling and being a noob Triple Strike
