Ex long time BitTornado user here. Got fed up of waiting for TheShadow to make his GUI and followed the breadcrumbs left by the people posting in BitTornado's forum recommending this awesome client.
  4. clamenza: how many torrents are you running when you experience this behaviour and how many upload slots do you have open per torrent?
  5. avatarl: an announcement was made in this thread http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=2971 how about you subscribe to the topic?
  6. I can confirm the v1.3 build 364 fixes the opening torrent problem. Nice work utorrent team. i'm lovin' the program.
  7. Ok here goes with explaining the problem with adding torrents. Adding torrents via the OPEN (OPEN before saving, not the OPEN button when download is complete) command in IE6 when downloading a file, adding torrents when UTorrent is closed, and dragging torrent files into Utorrent works fine. I also dont have the multiple instances problem. BUT adding torrents when Utorrent is already running has problems not experienced in 1.2 (the problem occurs between builds 360 and 361, somebody in a previous thread said it started with the noargs version you posted up). Basically i have two torrents on my desktop, both torrent files are displaying different behaviours which is gonna make this well complicated to explain. One torrent refuses point blank to add by double clicking on it while Utorrent is open, all it does it make the Utorrent block in the start bar blink orange. The other torrent will usually add to Utorrent while it is open. But sometimes when i double click on it, it will just do the same as the other torrent. UPDATE: I downloaded the torrent that was point blank refusing to work from another torrent site, its the same torrent but this site gives it a different name, and this torrent now displays the same behaviour as the other one which works most of the time. UPDATE 2: I take back what i said about it working when pressing OPEN in IE. This works MOST of the time for the torrent that works most of the time using double clicking method. But for the torrent that point blank refuses to work, it also point blank refuses to work using the OPEN option in IE instead of saving it to harddrive.
  8. RaVeN why are you posting about something you have already made a thread for and have received your answer in. http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=3251
  9. Ludde: I'll describe the new behaviour in the 1.3 release thread as it still occurs with this release.
  10. Oh and just to confirm using IE6 when you download a torrent from a website and choose RUN instead of SAVE, it will load the torrent into Utorrent without having to close it down first.
  11. alcaholjunkie: Well after starting up a torrent with a much smaller swarm i would definitely agree with your thoughts.
  12. Thanks for the quick responses guys. Ludde/Firon/Anyone: Is this new behaviour for adding torrents a stop gap measure for the multiple instances problem people had. This isn't going to be a permanent change is it? As for the availability graph, i just need someone to tell me what the three shades of blue mean. I assume the lightest one can be considered as going all the way across and therefore telling me im connected to a seed. Therefore i'm assuming one of the two darker shades of blue is showing me what the peers im connected to have. But what about the third shade of blue? Oh actually on second thoughts, do the two darker shades of blue have something to do with incomplete and complete pieces floating about among the peers im connected to?
  13. Hi, trying new beta 361 at the moment. XP SP2 and IE 6. Got 3 queries. 1) What happened to the Debug Info window, its not popping up when i click on it in the menu anymore. 2) Is there any reason i can only add a new torrent (using the double click on the actual torrent file method) when i close Utorrent completely (i dont have the multiple instances problem). Dragging a torrent file into the utorrent window works fine. 3) Can anyone explain this in the changelog for previous beta? "Feature: Nicer availability graph." I can see the difference, but i can't get my head around what the difference is/means.
