As always, attempt to at least cover up your downloads bar when showing a bug. I don't even...

makes sense for an unstable alpha not to be able to submit crash dumps for debugging. that should be least feature to work properly prior putting it to public light for testing

dump (24394) http://www.mediafire.com/?fqhx5bam914f7q1
I do not know English, translate through google
Constantly crash during the downloading files
1) during the installation loads a language file, but does not install it in c: \ Users \ GAndrey \ AppData \ Roaming \ utorrent \, the file remains in the language of the installer to run
2) during the installation choose to run at startup, but in the settings of this option is not worth it.

About the main advantages of 64 bit versions:
Probably the biggest advantage is that a 64bit system will no longer have to emulate 32bit for the application.
Although the compatibility is quite good and fast, it's still the goal to just use 64bit and not need any 32bit duplicate libraries and emulation at all.

Just curious if you could make a 64-bit build of uTorrent 2.2?  I think alot more people would use it....

When it detects a new version, it is downloading the 32-bit version

Not too sure about what that "SSEx" stuff is...

I was talking about Streaming SIMD Extensions

As far I remember correctly all 64bit CPUs at least can use SSE, SSE2 and SSE3
not sure it it will helps speed up µTorrent, but it's worth a try tongue

No, this is not possible. Major changes were required for a 64-bit build which cannot be backported.

We are not rolling out this build through autoupdates yet. It will be a while before we do that.

I took a look at Speed ->Transfer History. For me, it is switching itself between "upload+download only" and "uploaded only". And after a few "rounds" it turns ALL lines off for a minute or so...

Of course, the linecolors in legend, which are not displayed, are grayed out.

In case it matters, I'm doing Force Re-check of a 88GB torrent, which consists of many files.

Another interesting glitch:
When you highlight a row, almost all values in columns are shifted 1 px to the left.

Still VERY unstable comparing to 3.0 32-bit.
And ~1.5-10 times more CPU load comparing to 2.2.1.
Also, 3.x versions are forbidden on some trackers (I don't know why)...

Your first two sentances explain the 'why' for the third sentance...

Some trackers only allow official release versions of clients, not alpha or beta versions, because of the potential for bugs that can affect other users or even the trackers.

To reproduce:
1. Open the "bugged" Show Statistics.
2. Open Speed -> Transfer History.

Re: µTorrent 3.0 64-bit experimental 25570

I have gotten a message after a download completes that basically says the file does not exist and to recheck it and then you recheck it and no data is even there as if it never downloaded. Also I go to the DL Directory and there is no file. So no data is there. But after I re-download the file, It finishes successfully. Is anyone else having this problem?

I will post the a picture next time I get the message.

Where is the "logger tab" in the uTorrent 3 series?

You can right click on any of the tabs and re-enable Logger. You can also hide any of the tabs the same way.

This bug is now fixed in svn.

However, it's going to take us a little while before another 64-bit build, because there are at least 2 crashes that can trigger very early during the run.

Hold tight.
