  1. This IS possible in two ways: 1. if you take care that all absolute files paths are EXACTLY the same (including the drive letter). Shortcut from the new to the old to sub-directory (including the Drive) can be used for that. or 2. You move download location and force-recheck each and every torrent in it's new location
  2. Or maybe use settings.dat (@my sig)...
  3. Just bach it up and delete it. It will be recreated empty...
  4. Unless you delete from inside utorrent (data + torrents!) resume.dat will still keep the last known list of torrents.
  5. Add the "Label" column if needed , select torrent(s), and just right-click Labels->new label and the text "V" or "Watched" or anything else. https://www.imagebam.com/view/ME4H3DE After that, you just click on the Label column and select the label to add.
  6. You can just add a "-V" label... BUT such column can be nice too...

    3.5.x Beta

New/updated 3.5.5 46112 beta (not crashing this time arround...) Latest Stable and Beta with LAA flag - for using >2GB with x64 Windows - >uTorrent EXE with LAA Flag< or >from Here<
  8. Because with files that are being corrupted during crash-shutdown (like resume.dat), there is no full proof method to detect and recover, at least uTorrent is not detecting this and not using the .old backup instead, and might be even corrupting it too... This is why I always prefer to do my own backup before each session in my own script...
  9. As strange as it might sound, in your use-case, you might be better with lower cache in uTorrent, like the default - 128M ... Or even try cancel the cache for read. Also, hiding part of your large torrent list from the main view - might be of help (can check with selecting only active/inactive on the left pane, or by add the "hidden" label. )
  10. Seeding is sharing it with others. The longer you can afford to - the better.
  11. Set your upload limit (and download limit) if you like to lower the load. Use my settings if you like as a base.
  12. Yes, it is still good. Using my recommended settings (@sig) cannot heart either...

    delete torrents

    Set Pref.->advanced->gui.delete_to_trash - *false
  14. In the folder where your utorrent.exe is and it's sub-folders, AND the paths defined in pref.->directories
  15. Seriously? Don't you think that at least the Windows version and utorrent version&build # might be of interest here?
  16. Define "does not work" ? Add-magnet from uTorrent? clicking magnet from a browser? A starting point: https://superuser.com/a/1674933
  17. Try my LAA flaged release (see in my sig). If it was memory related - it might help.
  18. >is this the site? Yes, there is, under "files"... https://sites.google.com/site/ultimasites/files?authuser=0
  19. Well, the large one is more likely the one you need. You can try edit it with BEncode editor if you are lucky and it is not too corrupt. And in the future - better make you own backup before each start/session (use a script to start).
  20. Just Start downloading it again to go from 95 to 100...
  21. 1. You are not clear, you do have a global download limit, and can set it to unlimited... 2. Use labels for every new torrent (movies/tv-show etc) , and sett pref.->directories->append-label.
  22. You probably overwritten resume.dat. I think you need to try and recover the older file(s) with some file recovery utility.
  23. You need BEncode editor/viewer to open it with. Plus, you should make sure your browser has write-permission in that folder. I am sure there are cases when a shutdown can cause loss of data in resume.dat.
