  1. Err yea, check the readme.txt I'm writing this right now logged into my 1.6.1 1.7.5 and 1.8 webui's. Be sure you setup the Ctrl-P -> Advanced -> WebuI pane correctly if you're limiting access to IPs, and that you setup the correct forwarding port when using non-standard port. Also please note Firefox 3 Beta is not compatible at this time. Nor is IE 6 (but it never will be due to its definition of "standards")
  2. Thanks for the sentiment bigcharlie, but honestly Lockhaven must really be bored since 1.7.5 has been out for months, and instead of taking his problems to Troubleshooting or Support he decided to flame on a thread about a released version. As far as that being a representation of Lockhaven himself I'll let you decide which one of the adjectives used best describes him. Salt rules, but only on steak
  3. speed-demon I'm updating my bmp now. I'll re-post if there are more I got a query about the zoom-imager I was using. It's from Fluid Studios. They make one of the more popular software raid programs (FSRaid link) and it's called FSZoomin link bLAH! he seems to have changed his whole site over to flash.
  4. I don't have the latest flags.bmp but I was poking around with a magnifier and saw these groupings with extra non-transparent pixels: I continue to be amazed at the VARIETY of flags you made. Another thanks from me
  5. Note: I said a different key than the scheduler uses. This is saying the same thing After checking the keys myself, indeed it is only putting it under HKCU so no, it won't run as a SYSTEM level account, and the only means to interact with the system account is the webui. Sorry if I confused you Edit: If you are running a computer (2K Server or greater) with Terminal Services a.k.a. Multiple Users It is possible to keep multiple user sessions open at once. NOTE THIS IS NOT SUPPORTED BY MICROSOFT SINCE XP SP2 FINAL Relevant Search on Gee-DoubleOh-Gee-El-Ee
  6. uTorrent has and has had the ability to start when computer starts through a registry key different than the scheduler uses. Yes the webUI is still under development. No I don't know when a new version will be out. No I don't think you should ask for an ETA. Why? Because presumably with all the new features being put into the new 1.8 line I'd hope Directrix would wait until it is feature complete instead of working on it while in-flux and trying to play catch-up between builds.
  7. (I'm beginning to think the usercount isn't growing with users, but spammers anyone else's opinion?) There is a readme.txt in the package you downloaded from ... this thread. Also there is a WebUI Guide accessible from the nifty Guides page
  8. I LOVE IT! Now I'm comparing it to Torrentspy in terms of speed. With that it allows you to scrape and stuff... but this, THIS will let you EDIT things, Cut/paste, i bet it even cooks ramen!!
  9. Eng, I didn't realize what I was missing until I switched to your flags set. When 1.8 started I decided to pop it in and let me say, WOW! So many more options... nice soothing non-harsh contrasting images. Great work.
  10. More sexy B-encoded Editor madness!! Ultima, thanks. :cheer:
  11. Generally it is wise to not overload your client by splitting total upload by number of upload slots * active torrents < 10 (IMNSHO). I can consistently get 30-32 KBps up so I have 3 active torrents.
  12. You know ... search does wonders... theres "uPohone" about. . . as well as "flashui" a minimal webui-based-in-flash http://www.davidraso.com/utorrent-iphone/ http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=13694
  13. IE isn't supported fully afaik. and Beta1.. well don't use it. If you tried everything in the readme.txt your problemis solved. make sure its http://localhost:PORT:/gui/ (capitalization matters) or 127.0.0.1 or your LAN IP or your external IP depending on how you setup Ctrl-P -> Advanced -> WebUI -> Restrict access
  14. Ctrl-P -> Advanced -> WebUI If you have limited it to 127.0.0.1 there you need to add a range, or remove it. (Note: it is not recommended to have your webui open to the public) To enable IPs add individual ones, or CIDR notation 192.168.0.0/24 (Thank adambot http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=241666#p241666 for exposing this nicety) Sorry Lord Alderaan, I misattributed that post to you. But no worries you're still smarter than I. Edited to be correct.
  15. Firstly this is an announcement thread, not support thread. Are you talking about the status indicator as referenced here: http://utorrent.com/faq.php#What_do_the_Network_Status_lights_mean.3F Or are you talking about other "red" icons... (as-in the default theme) for individual torrents as referenced here: http://utorrent.com/faq.php#What_do_the_red_icons_mean_on_the_torrent_status_icons.3F
