    Not for torrenting. In many cases, the exits required to torrent are blocked from exit nodes, and those that aren't blocked are overloaded.Proxying yourself doesn't protect you.

Your post about geoip is NOT appropriate for this thread, as it has been discussed quite a number of times already. Besides, you can enable a reverse dns lookup of the flag in the preferences.

    You're at least willing to work with us to get things fixed, people like Isochroma are apparently not willing and would rather knee-jerk downgrade to an unsupported version of uTorrent than troubleshoot the issue with developers.

    May have nothing to do with anything other than they stopped their torrent for some reason. Not avoidable in any client. If you have to re-check, incomplete pieces don't validate and as such are discarded.
