Nefarious
Currently the statistics are erased when settings.dat gets deleted, so there must be a statistics.dat to store only statistics. This would help, when the only way to restore the utorrent preferences or when the only way to make utorrent work again is by deleting settings.dat, and doing this deletes the statistics data as well, and being that the statistics are the less volatile data, it should be kept on a different file. Ultima
Hm... One more file added to the %appdata%\utorrent folder... whatever, I guess I'll put a vote behind this one, since I semi-suggested it here =]

shadek
I'll have to agree with this. I want to keep my statistics when deleting the settings.dat.
tjobo
Great idea, shouldn't be too hard to implement. And also with a litle more statistics than now would be wonderful.
Vectorferret
Gonna put my +1 on here. Never had to delete my settings.dat, but would be nice if I did. What statistics are in there by the way? I didn't know there was any long term record keeping in µTorrent? chaosblade
My vote aswell. People often need to delete their settings and\or resume files to solve issues, No reason to lose statistics aswell. +1 for Statistics.dat ;]
