  1. http://torrentfreak.com/utorrents-new-privacy-settings-cause-confusion-100823/
  2. Are you running in self-contained mode (where settings.dat is next to the utorrent.exe file)?
  3. No it doesn't. It bases it on the flags.conf first (if present) then the default list of .net/.com/.org = .us and all country codes matching up. If the domain isn't giving the proper flag, check to make sure it's in the .conf file
  4. And are you following the install directions for putting the flags.conf and flags.bmp on your system?
  5. Can you please read changelogs and previous posts? Always show dialog on manual add got folded in to the show a dialog that shows the files in the torrent (because too many people couldn't deal with the two settings thing).
  6. You missed something in the transition from the windows version to the mac version.
  7. That has to do with proxy connections + peer exchange, and it still doesn't protect you from anti-p2p groups.
  8. It got merged into the other setting "Show a window that displays the files inside the torrent"
  9. Are you testing from behind the same router?
  10. queue.dont_count_slow_(ul/dl) in advanced are set to what?
  11. And what about the specific setting I mentioned? Did you enable it too?
  12. Because THIS ENABLES ipv6, not disables it.
  13. what IP are you trying to use to access externally?
  14. I think you missed a setting. Preferences - directories - always show dialog on manual add. The same setting EVERYONE ELSE WITH YOUR PROBLEM MISSED.
  15. When you take the time to read the four dozen other posts discussing the problem you have.
  16. uTorrent displays its speeds in *byte/sec, you're getting your connection's rated speeds based on your settings.
  17. Did you turn on the "Always show dialog on manual add" setting in preferences - directories?
  18. http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=71296 If/when microsoft gets their patch out to fix the issue then yes it will get changed. Otherwise no.
