Firon
The webui should -not- be able to do something like that.

Ultima
Assuming you're running it in Wine...Because Windows environment variables do not apply in alternative operating systems, it naturally follows that %AppData% does not either. You'll find that the µTorrent settings directory is actually located at ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/profiles/USERNAME/Applications Data/uTorrent, where USERNAME is your username on the operating system. What does this mean for you? That webui.zip needs to go there.

Ultima
No... It would've still been HTML/JS/CSS only still, and not Java...
Gorgoth
I have been running the web UI for about a week and its been perfect it was the reason i switched from Azureus to uTorrent as it is a memory hog and wanted some thing more compact. This web UI works great thanks
madwd2007
TRES BRAVO!!! WOW! Utorrent just keeps getting better and better. This BETA is GREAT! No problems thus far. Don't know if it's my imagination but my downloads/uploads seem to be even faster than ever. I'd like to know why that is? YOU ROCK!!!Mikey in Toronto! Jelly
Hey, new here, but been watching this thread for ages, anyway, a few 'bugs'?After experiencing a crash everytime a .torrent was removed I was joyed when a new version came out that 'fixed' this problem, unfortunately it hasn't (Windows Server 2003 latest SP afaik). Also, I've noticed when you have the option 'Don't start new torrents automatically' ticked when you upload a new torrent via the WebUI the new torrents start automatically anyway.Just wanted to report those 2 'bugs' / problems.edit; Also noticed that in uTorrent RSS works but how come not in the webUI? Surely if it was enabled when doing it normally (w/o webUI) it'd work in webUI (ie it'd download the torrents automatically).
Firon
You sure you're on 490? I'm running 2003 SP1 as well and I don't crash. I removed probably 300 torrents yesterday.
Jelly
Yup, definately on build 490. I'm removing the torrents via webUI as well, as soon as I remove it, it shows removed in the webUI, I try to do something in the webUI and it just times out.edit; I'll try it without webUI when I get home.
