Firon
This release fixes several outstanding issues with 1.8.µTorrent will never exceed the half-open limit now. This resolves the issue where trackers would all go offline after a few hours and require restarting µTorrent. It also connects to as many peers in 1.7.7 in all circumstances, as the connection distribution system has been fixed.Furthermore, the crash on Vista has finally been resolved! We've worked around the NOD32 issue, but it's still a nasty bug in NOD32 2.5/7 and you should really not use IMON, as the issue could potentially affect any program. The update tracker restriction has been relaxed when the announce fails. If the announce fails for any reason, you'll only have to wait 60 seconds to do manual update tracker again, instead of whatever the min interval actually was.http://download.utorrent.com/1.8.1/utorrent.exeNote: 12639 is out and on the automatic updater for all users. The only fix since 12616 is to prevent µTorrent from showing the installer dialog when upgrading from an older version. There are no other changes, and if you are already on 12616, there is no reason to update.Tracker admins, please allow both builds (12616 and 12639). iycgtptyarvg
Oh no! Why did you guys remove the 'remaining bytes to seed' feature?!? I was actually VERY VERY happy with it!Now that uTorrent has automatically updated my version to the stable version I'm a lot less happy.Could you please supply a link to build 12495 so I can use that? Alternatively, could someone who still has that version please email it to me iycgtptyarvg @ gmail . com

Firon
The remaining for seeding feature will come back later. But it was an improperly done feature addition, so it was removed for the final. You should absolutely not revert, particularly since 12495 has various bugs. Also, 12639 is out and on the automatic updater for all users. The only fix since 12616 is to prevent µTorrent from showing the installer dialog when upgrading from an older version. There are no other changes, and if you are on 12616, there is no reason to update.Tracker admins, please allow both builds. The user-agent is identical for both.
