Firon 3 Report post Posted September 30, 2010 I can't wait for Windows 7 SP1. It's gonna fix that stupid bug where apps become unkillable.
moogly 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2010 Yep, I don't really understand why MS is waiting for the SP1 release to dispatch this bugfix... Surely minor bug for them.

mgfranz 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2010 Auto-update of 2.0.4 brought with it a malicious file that MalWareBytes detected and quarantined. File and trojan;utt244.tmp.exe (Trojan.Pakes)Quarantine of the file prevents the update from running.

rafi 185 Report post Posted October 1, 2010 100% false-positive.How can you be 100% sure ? .. . It might be a new embedded "calling home" warm on behalf of BT inc. in this new build ... I would give it at lease 2% chance... Better test it will all the AV/AAW utilities you can...
Zarggg 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2010 Yeah, I'll give that a 0% chance.
Registered 1 Report post Posted October 3, 2010 Graph_TCP_Rate_Control gives purple tcp speed graphs, and red line in graphs is for the udp+tcp throughput combined. Is their one for udp i could do with having it as an option.I keep miss reading for it i guess, do you know what is is called to enable it ?
rafi 185 Report post Posted October 3, 2010 Is their one for udpno. you may want to suggest it in the 2.2 beta thread. maybe someone will listen
joval 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2010 I thought that the survey bug was solved, but it just keeps rearing its ugly head (WinXP/SP3) running version 22150. As I posted somewhere else... just get rid of the code which places the survey link!!!! If you want to tell us to do a survey, use the status bar!!!! Leave working features alone.
Firon 3 Report post Posted October 5, 2010 It is fixed in 2.2.
rafi 185 Report post Posted October 5, 2010 No good for us. We don't use beta release for 'production' ... And you'll also do the trackers' sites a big favor if you also re-name it to 2.05, This will also help us all to identify which 2.04 build our peer is using, and see if some issues are being caused by a buggy 2.04 build ... batmite 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2010 When mgfranz said there was a ''Auto-update of 2.0.4 brought with it a malicious file that MalWareBytes detected and quarantined. File and trojan;utt244.tmp.exe (Trojan.Pakes)'' was it true?
Ultima 7 Report post Posted October 11, 2010 Depends on what you mean by "true".- It probably is true that he saw that message from his anti-malware software.- It probably isn't true that there actually was a virus. Why probably? Because that depends on whether or not his computer itself was already infected with malware. And historically, many anti-malware packages throw false-positives on µTorrent anyway.
