I can't post the bsod results cuz when this happens, windows disconnects my system drive. the bsod minidump's aren't saved.

i've had the above bsod message and KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR, though i haven't since this message since using a latter version.

This is true for 2 pc's so far, with similar setups, although not identical. Both on sandforce 1200 ssd. However, this happens ONLY and ONLY when utorrent is on. I have never seen this occur without utorrent.

I am having High CPU usage with the uTorrent 3 including the latest build as well, build 20680.

I am new to reporting bug/problems so bare with me.

ut3.jpg

This is the utorrent 3 build 20680 in Process Explorer.

As is evident, there is considerable constantly high CPU usage.

Here is the mini-dump file from Process Explorer.

Now

ut203.jpg

This is the same CPU performance for uTorrent 2.0.3 build 20683. Barely a trace.

Here is the mini-dump file for this version.

http://www.mediafire.com/?881mvczal21i1cf

Both uTorrent versions were used with the same settings and same torrents loaded for roughly the same amount of time from a fresh start.

Hopefully this will be looked into.

We will look into the higher CPU usage. How many torrents do you have total, and how many are active?

Some 55 torrents Total

Only 1 (sometimes 2, max) Downloading

Approx 10-12 are active at max (uploading, which i have capped at 90% of max upload)

DHT enabled, bandwidth management (utp) is off,

Rest of settings i have at default more or less.

I can give you my settings.dat file if you want.

On Windows 7 Professional x32, the installer wont finish, getting stuck, freezing, unfreezing, but not doing anything at the final screen; the one with "add exception to firewall", etc

I click Install, but nothing happens and it just waits for the click again, and loops like that.

And whenever I get a crash dump (not in this case though), I click submit to devs but it errors out (can't remember exact message; will post on next dump.

Acer aspire 9420, Windows 7 enterprise x32, utorrent takes up 60-100% of cpu and it's impossible to use. Installed it, and after first launch it became like that. I have total 181 torrents in list, 1 active.

i used utorrent-3.0-beta-20759.upx.

with 2.0.3 everything is working fine

Here's dump file created from task manager

Tested the new build 20759, then build 20777

Still having the same above reported, unusual continuous CPU usage of 15-20% approx.

i am on win7 64 bit btw,

Even on stopping all my 50 torrents, hence no bandwidth activity, still has no affect.

For the record, I dislike the new fluffy interface changes, and abhor the idea of 'Apps'.

Apps seems more like something malware would have integrated than a clean, efficient BT client like utorrent.

Please, stick to what's important, not integrating &*^*&^ Raptor :P

The streaming feature isn't terrible, although I'll almost never use it. What I'd LIKE to see is more automation functionality. I'd like to be able to define behaviours based on Label groups, pre and post actions (so I can write scripts to rename files to my favoured format, etc), a better RSS Downloader interface (and WAY better documentation for it)

I know this is probably falling on deaf ears (if being read at all), but if I don't voice my complaints it seems there's zero chance that utorrent would become the client I wish it was.

What was the last version that the Update-Check returned before it started suggesting 2.2? Version 2.0.3 looks good (the same as it did this afternoon), but I could have sworn I was running 2.1-something…
